About Magnolia Creek Psychotherapy

My name is Laken Cronk. I am an RN Psychotherapist, as well as a mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend, animal-lover, antique collector, and hobby enthusiast. I have spent over 7 years providing professional mental health assessment and support to mothers and children at risk of negative health outcomes.

At Magnolia Creek Psychotherapy, I believe that healing happens in spaces that feel safe, steady, and deeply human. Life can become overwhelming at times — especially when anxiety, low mood, intrusive thoughts, or major life transitions begin to take up more space than you want them to. Therapy can be a place to slow down, make sense of what’s happening, and begin to reconnect with yourself.

Magnolia Creek is inspired by the natural rhythms of growth, resilience, and renewal. Just as a creek continues to move forward — sometimes gently, sometimes with force — our lives are shaped by both calm and challenge. My role is to walk alongside you as you navigate those seasons, offering support, insight, and practical tools to help you feel more grounded and at ease.

A Holistic, Evidence-Based Approach

As a Registered Nurse Psychotherapist, I bring a holistic perspective to mental health care. This means considering the whole person — mind, body, emotions, and life context — rather than focusing on symptoms alone. My nursing background allows me to integrate an understanding of the nervous system, stress physiology, and health-related factors with evidence-based psychotherapy approaches.

I work collaboratively with clients, tailoring therapy to your unique needs, values, and goals. Sessions are compassionate, non-judgmental, and paced in a way that feels respectful of where you are right now.

Areas of Focus

I support adults navigating a range of concerns, including:

Anxiety and chronic worry

Depression and low mood

Obsessive-compulsive symptoms and intrusive thoughts

Peripartum and reproductive mental health

Life transitions, identity shifts, and burnout

Stress, overwhelm, and emotional regulation

ADHD symptom management and executive functioning struggles

What You Can Expect

Therapy at Magnolia Creek is not about “fixing” you — it’s about helping you better understand yourself, develop resilience, and build skills that support long-term wellbeing. You can expect a space that feels calm, thoughtful, and collaborative, where your experiences are taken seriously and your autonomy is respected.

Whether you are seeking short-term support or longer-term therapy, my goal is to help you move toward greater clarity, balance, and self-trust.
